Just some updates and such

I feel like there has been so much that has happened between my last post and now, so i'm hoping that I can remember everything, but chances are, I won't. :)

For starters, I graduated from college ya'll! I cannot begin to express how relieved I am to be finished with school. I am beyond proud of myself for accomplishing that step in life, especially with a baby because let's be honest...it completely sucked. But it's done. I am also done with work, so I get to do the job I have always wanted to do, a stay at home momma! Guys, it is the best thing ever. I love being home with Landon all day and watch him grow and just be able to play with him all day. Besides taking care of him all day, when he is down for a nap i'm either watching Gray's Anatomy ( it's really addicting guys, don't do it...actually do it. It's worth it) or i'm slowly cleaning house. Since we are moving in April, I am trying to go through stuff and get rid of everything that we don't use/need. We went through our closet and got rid of THREE garbage bags full of clothes, and it doesn't even look like we got rid of anything. But just thinking about the end of the semester and moving, really weirds me out. We aren't going to be college students anymore (hallelujah), but we are going into the "real" world.

But before I graduated (I had to mention that first..because come on, it's awesome) we went to Florida (for the last time) for Thanksgiving. Landon was an absolute angel on the plane. I kid you not people didn't even know there was a baby on the plane. But Florida was wonderful as it always is. We spent time with family, ate way too much food and took Landon to the beach for the first time, and when his feet touched the sand his eyes lit up. He's totally it momma's son. I had a hard time leaving because I knew I wasn't coming back. My parents are now in Houston and Landon and I get to go visit for 2 weeks next month! It will be super weird because it will be the first time in the 3 years Ty and I have been married that we will be apart. But it will be good and i'm excited to see what Houston has to offer!

Christmas was spent here in Idaho. This was also bittersweet because we set up our christmas tree for the last time. But we did get a white christmas after having no snow for a little bit. So that made me happy. Landon was hilarious when it came to the presents under the tree. He just wanted the wrapping paper (of course) , but he loved getting a bunch of new toys. But it was so much fun having all of the family together and just to play tons of games and eat more food than we should have. Christmas is always my favorite, and it just got even better because we have a kiddo in the mix!

For new years we decided to take a quick trip to Utah, just cause. We were in Salt Lake for maybe 2 hours and Ty met a player from the Utah Jazz, and I got on news! I guess you could say that we ended the new year pretty darn good! Funny story about Ty meeting the player. We were walking through City Creek and he walked out of Foot Locker and Ty goes "oh my gosh! Dante!" Me being completely oblivious, thought that it was someone from high school that he knew. Nope. But Ty was like a little girl and fan girling hard. I tried not to laugh as I took a picture of them. But Tyson's face afterwards was like a little kid on christmas morning. It was hilarious.

After all the holidays and fun came to an end, Ty started his last semester! I can't believe that it is finally here! He has to work nights this semester, but the way his classes are, the days that he works he has a huge break where he can be home with us for a little bit and I take him dinner and hang out in his office for a little bit (yeah, I can be wifey when I want to). And honestly, him working nights isn't as bad as I thought. It goes by super fast because my night consists of bathing and feeding landon, and then putting him to bed! I didn't walk for graduation last semester, because I wanted to walk with Ty when he graduated, and this way, my parents only have to come out once. We are hoping to end up in Houston because apparently thats the place to be. So fingers crossed that's where we end up!

Quick little update on the babe. He will be 6 months next weekend...wait...what? I have no idea how he is already this old. He figured out the rolling from back to front thing a while ago and literally the same day he started scooting. I am so not excited for him to be crawling which will probably be happening by next month. He is such a fast learner it kinda freaks me out. He has started solid foods, and this kid LOVES vegetables, but now he pretty much loves anything you stick in his mouth (now including bananas...sorry Jared). He is almost sitting up on his own, still likes to fall over, but he could do it (he's stubborn like me and does things on his own time). He laughs way more now and is seriously such a goofy kid. He makes the weirdest noises, his favorite sounds like a walrus and a howling dog...it's weird, I know. He gets SUPER excited when daddy comes home and gets pissed if Ty doesn't come say hi to him the second he walks in the door. He loves to torture Thor dog and grab at him, but Thor has been taking it like a champ. He was such a scrawny kid at first and he fit into  0-3 month clothes for the longest time, but then one day he decided that some 3-6 and 6-9 month clothes is the way to go. I cannot believe how much he has grown and how much personality he has. We love him to pieces and can't wait to see how much more he grows!

I think that I got everything important out there, but chances are i'll probably be laying in bed and think of something that I missed.....jk.. i'll be passed out the second I hit the pillow. Well I hope ya'll had a wonderful holiday and now that I have a little more free time (kinda..not really), i'm hoping to do this blogging thing a little bit more!

Love - Ty, Jess and Landon
