Well hello again!

Long time no see huh? Pretty much a lot has happened since I have last posted and I'm here now to catch ya'll up before I forget everything! Well spring semester came and went, I finished with good grades and Tyson finished up his full time position for the semester as well. He enjoyed it so much, and talks about how he misses it sometimes. He really is one of the hardest workers I have ever met. He goes above and beyond with anything he is given and everyone around him can see that. He got nothing but compliments the whole time he had that full time position. Watching him work, and go to meetings kind of gives me a glimpse of what his work life is going to be like here in two years. Can I just say that I got lucky with this one? I couldn't imagine life with anyone else!

After school was out, we were finally able to play in the wonderful summer weather! After work, most (if not all) of our afternoons and weekends consisted of going to rigby lake, eating Karie Anne's, going on walks, and hanging out with friends. Then we FINALLY got to go to Florida and visit my family for two weeks! Literally the best two weeks of the summer. I hadn't seen my family since thanksgiving and I was as anxious as ever to get there and see them.

The main reason we went to Florida was to see my little sister get baptized. As I helped my mom get my sister ready, I couldn't believe she is already 8 years old. It literally felt like she was born the month before. She is growing up way to fast. But in those 8 years that I have known her we have grown to be super close. I love talking to her on the phone and listening to her tell the most outrageous but hilarious stories, and hearing what she is learning in school. I love that she has a part of me in her. She has become sarcastic and funny, and she is starting to get sassy, and I LOVE it! I love being a part of her life, and I look forward to seeing how she grows and see what the future has in store for her.

Besides Kenna's birthday and baptism we did a lot of beach hopping, and a lot of swimming in my parents new pool. We literally went swimming everyday twice (sometimes even three) times a day. Tyson and I would swim after breakfast, then we would get out shower and do whatever it is we had planned for that day, and come home and swim with Kenna after she got home from school, and then we may have went swimming/ hot tubbing with my family after dinner. I guess you could say we were a tad obsessed with it! Oh, and Thor dog loved it too! He didn't get to the point of jumping in by himself just yet, but he loved sitting on our laps on the steps so he could cool off in the water. Maybe when we go back for christmas we can get him to jump in.

We of course had to hit up a Rays game while we were down. It was so fun, and I am glad I got Ty into baseball(especially the rays) because it's something I really enjoy doing! Speaking of baseball, Kenna started playing softball (she's keeping up the tradition of all the kids playing baseball/softball). She is the cutest little ball player and it was funny watching all the little girls playing out on the field. Besides swimming, beaching, and ball games it was so nice to just be home with my family. I love how goofy they are and how there is never a dull moment with them. I love the adventures Ty , my dad and I go on(I'm sure you all read my status about the apple tv) and I love being able to talk with my mom face to face and not just over skype. But sadly, all the fun in the sun had to come to an end so Ty and I could get back to reality. But we will be back for christmas and hopefully my parents can make it out here during spring break or in the summer!

Fall semester has now started and Ty and I are both in school. It's been a little bit of a tough semester for me so far, but I am loving my classes and so is Tyson. I have two more semesters left and Tyson  has about four. I seriously cannot wait till we are able to be done with school and move out of Rexburg. We are both still working our same jobs on campus and still loving it. Although I did switch positions in the book store. I am no longer a cashier, I work on the floor now. I work in the trade book area/ gift area and I love it! Tyson and our friends have started up another soccer team for the semester and their first game is tonight! Thor dog and I will be cheerleaders under a couple blankets to keep warm while we watch from the sidelines!

Well my friends, that is all of the updates we have for now. We'll keep ya posted on anything new that comes up in out lives!

Love, Jess and Ty

Living the Good Life

We're halfway through another semester and I am so ready to throw in the towel. I am going crazy with all the projects and assignments that have to be done. BUT Florida comes at the end of all this madness so we're pretty stoked! aannndd, I can't be to upset because all of the teachers in my major never have final exams, we always have final projects which I would so rather have, and we're usually done a week or two before the semester is over anyways!

2 weeks we get to spend in paradise with my family! 2! I think after we officially figured out the dates, it made it that much more real and that much more exciting! My little sister is getting baptized, and I am so amazed that she is turning 8. Where the heck did the time go? November was the last time we went to Florida, and it's been way too long! Cannot wait for the beach, we're making a trip to Universal Studios, and eating at all of our favorite places that we don't have here! Oh, and my moms cooking......yes. I miss that!

Ty guy is living his job this semester. He works so hard at what he does, and i'm so glad that he enjoys it and I have to say, he looks darn cute doing it too;) His office has put together a softball team for the semester and their first game is tonight, so we will see how they do! He has also started mowing his grandma's lawn for the summer, which is a little extra job he does everyday Saturday morning! He is just so wonderful...I just love him:)

For everyone who didn't know, we went about 3 weeks without cable because our manager took it upon herself to cut it off without telling anyone. So we had to basically pull teeth to get something put back on because they didn't want to budge on lowering the rent. But after going back and forth they finally got us dish, but we are the only apartment without a receiver, so were still not happy with them, but we've given up and just taken what we got. We are still trying to get them to find someone to mow the lawn, because they wont do that either. :) Luckily, we live in nice apartments and they allow us to have dogs!

Other than that minor incident, the Clarks are doing pretty darn well! We're enjoying the warm weather that we are getting, and playing outside as much as we can! We just went to Lava Hot Springs and swam in the pool and sat in the hot springs for a bit. It was so nice to actually swim in an outside pool and actually get a little sun! We enjoyed the long weekend we had, and weren't so happy about getting up early this morning for work and school but we're trucking along in school and trying to get done as fast as we can, so we can move on with life!

I'm really really really hoping I can keep up with the blog more than I am now, but as school goes on it gets more hectic for me, so we shall see! But until then, we hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Love, Ty and Jess

Been a while huh?

Okay, so i'm not THE greatest blogger in the world. Obviously I have struggled to keep up with it, but life happens!

Tyson's semester is coming to an end here in a couple weeks which means time for me to worry about homework and such again. Boo. But on the up side, Tyson got a new job on campus! He is going to be the Student Supervisor for Even Services (where he currently works), but full time! He has worked so hard to get this position and I couldn't be more proud of him! How did I get so lucky with such a hard working man? Having this  new job means he gets to quit his job in Idaho falls, which will save SO much money on gas for us! He goes to his first job meeting tomorrow so he can get a feel of what these meetings will feel like, and he is super excited! I honestly can't say enough how proud I am of him for getting this position! No internship for this summer, but that's okay this is a really good opportunity for him and it gives us a little more of a heads up for next summer when he really will be doing an internship. (hopefully in Florida;))

As for me, I am still working right now and dreading this upcoming semester. I really cannot wait to be done with school, but at the same time, graduation freaks me out. Sooo, maybe I can suck it up for a while longer :).

We are planning on taking a little road trip to Washington for a friend's wedding reception here in a couple weeks, and we couldn't be more excited to go somewhere besides Utah! But seriously though...it'll be nice to have a week off together and just have fun! Plus, we are excited to continue the wedding festivities with our good friends!

Ty guy and I have been keeping up on our little new years resolution to go to the gym at least three times a week, and honestly we have never felt better! I'm definitely starting to see him slim down, and i'm starting to see the toning I want! We are slowly but surely making the progress we want! Even though tonight our workout probably doesn't count because after we went running, we decided to go to Pizza Pie Cafe and eat a cookie monster....yeah..... Sorry not sorry. It was delish. That's okay though, we just wanted to burn off those calories the next gym sesh ;) But really though we are gonna look good in bathing suits this summer:)

Well...i've literally been sitting here staring at the screen for who knows how long trying to think of all the super exciting things that have been happening in our lives...clearly I can't come up with anything else. Such an exciting life we live right? No it just goes to show how long it's been since i've blogged last. Well that's it for now folks!
