Once again, Christmas has come and gone. I honestly have no idea where this year has gone. Christmas was just yesterday, today is wednesday, our schedules are now all out of whack, and I just don't want this christmas season to end. One thing however that I am so grateful and happy about is that it snowed a bunch on Christmas eve! If I was staying here for Christmas there was no way I was going to be happy without snow on the ground........and now it won't stop snowing....cool.
Before the whole Christmas scene, we got to hang out with some friends and make some yummy candy, and have a Harry Potter themed dinner. Both were definitely a success. It's always fun hanging out with awesome people and just laughing and playing games for hours. Definitely what we needed after a long semester.
Christmas with the Clarks was so much fun! We played games and ate, laughed, ate, watched movies, ate, slept..oh..and ate some more. This was my first Christmas away from home, and it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. If Skype didn't exist, I probably would have died, but it was nice seeing my family and seeing their gifts. I do have to say that Ty's family is awesome. I am so glad that he loves my family and I love his, we definitely got lucky with our in-laws.
Watching our niece and nephew open their gifts Christmas morning was definitely the best part of the day. I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one in the room looking back at that age and how exciting it was as a kid to see what Santa brought, and to play with all of your toys non stop the rest of the day. As you grow up, the day is still exciting, yet it changes so much. It's crazy how as you get older the things you want start to lessen, and you start having to think really hard at things you need or even want. Oh to be a kid again and want everything in any toy store everywhere.
Today was back to work for us, and it was a struggle. I'm sure all of you are with me when I say we should get the day after Christmas off...even if you aren't a parent yet or whatever, just being around people all day and dealing with all of the craziness, it really takes it out of ya! Other than that, nothing to new in the Clark house. Just enjoying the break and starting to get Ty ready for the semester coming up really fast! We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! :)

Halloween, Thanksgiving, and everything else!
Okay...so maybe it's been almost three months since i've blogged last. But in my defense this past semester was a killer on Ty guy and I. Well, since I have so much to catch ya'll up on, this is going to be a long blog post. So try and stay awake!
For Halloween we decided to get a little creative, so as we were watching TV one night, the sun drop commercial came on (and if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend you check it out!), so we got our costumes and let me just say we did a pretty dang good job. So many people loved our idea. We hung out with family and some friends, ate too much candy and food, and laughed a lot! Ty had a soccer game that night, and unfortunately it was their last. They played really good, but lost. So close to being in the final game. But they still had a lot of fun!
For thanksgiving, we got to go back to sunny Florida! We got to stay for a week, and just relax and enjoy spending time with my family and enjoy the warmer weather! This was the first Thanksgiving I have ever had that wasn't at my house (at least that I can remember), and it was nice to not have to cook a whole lot, we ( and by we I mean me haha) just made a couple side dishes and a dessert and just got to stuff our faces! When I said that I cooked most of the food, I say that because my momma sprained her ankle two days before and she couldn't do much. If you know my mom, you know that she was going crazy not being able to do much. She actually got super frustrated that she couldn't make anything for thanksgiving. But it's okay, it was good practice for me, since one day I will be making Thanksgiving at my house when we grow up:) Except the fact that my mom never measures anything, so I have to guess and hope it turns out right....and just so you know, it all turned out great! We got to meet my new little dog brother, and take Thor dog on an airplane for the first time, and he did great. Only because we cheated and gave him sleeping pills! But enjoyed every minute with my family, and we love visiting them as often as we can!
Now it is Christmas time and I am in LOVE with this time of year. I think I got even more excited about it because we were able to decorate our own home, and start our own traditions. And can I just say, that how in the HECK is Christmas next week? Yeah, I don't know either. But it is crazy. This year has gone by so fast! But we are excited for what the future years have in store for us. This is going to be my first Christmas away from home, and it really hasn't settled well with me just yet. I am beyond grateful though that we have Tyson's family so close so that we are able to spend the holidays with them. I already can tell though that this is going to be a great one. I am excited to see Ty's families traditions! But I am SUPER bummed that we may not have a white Christmas. It has snowed, but a lot of it has already melted.
Well, Fall semester is over. We are now just working and trying to figure out how to keep busy since we don't have homework, and just enjoying life! We hope that everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday and remember the true meaning of Christmas and think about the feelings that you get this time of year and be grateful for all that you have!

Just a little update...
I seriously have been slacking on my blogging, but hey, school started, work and there have been little bits here and there have kept me from updating you wonderful people on our lives! Well, not too much excitement has happened here in the Clark household. We have started our 4th week of the semester and working and doing homework, is just taking it out of us. I feel like there aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done. I'm pooped by 8...and yes I know your thinking "wow you really ARE an old married couple"....well this is the best part. Tyson and I were sitting in the living room this past weekend and we were watching tv when Ty turned on the 10 o'clock local news. Afterwards we both looked at each other and said that we actually enjoyed watching it. Yeah......okay....NOW you can say we are an old married couple. I officially declared it this weekend. haha
Tyson started playing soccer again last week (yeah I didn't wanna play because i'm not nearly as good as everyone else on the team. plus i only played to get the guy...and I did!) But they dominated! 7-0! They even went easy on the other team for the last half and stuck all the girls in the front and they still killed it! And can I just say that I love being the little cheerleader wife on the sidelines? Say what you want, but I enjoy watching him do something he loves, and he loves me being there supporting him. :) He is such a trooper this semester though, working two jobs, taking six classes and still spends time with me and play with the pup. He is one awesome man! Oh....AND he helps me make dinner every night...yes ladies....go ahead....be jealous.
I know you all are just DYING for an update on the little furry one. Well, he is five months now, and seriously is the sweetest dog, and is super smart, but also extremely stubborn. So far all of his tricks consist of: sitting, laying down, shaking, jumping, sitting pretty and he comes when we say so. We are working on rolling over, but he doesn't seem to like it too much..oh well. haha He is officially kennel trained, and no longer barks when he hears us come in the door. He is however getting to the point where he is becoming more independent and thinks he can run off wherever when we take him outside. So he his being forced to be on the leash until he is out of that little stage. He is still such a joy to have around the house and we love having his little cute self around us.
Okay...so now for the most exciting news, well at least I think so. We are going to Florida for thanksgiving! I am oh so happy to see my family. I am however bummed that we won't be here for thanksgiving with Tyson's family but that will be next year. We had to work out the holidays so we weren't missing thanksgiving and christmas with one side of the family each year. This way, we will be spending a holiday with each family each year, and we will just rotate the holidays. I am however excited that we will be here for christmas so that it will be white outside and not green. Don't get me wrong, I love being able to wear shorts in December down in Florida, but I love that there will actually be snow outside Christmas morning...and lets be honest...I get to decorate my own house for christmas..who doesn't get excited about that?
Well, there ya have it. A good ole update from us. It's officially October and I am excited! Hope everyone had a fantastic Monday! And for all you Floridians, try not to melt...I can see that it's still not cooling down too much. On the bright side..it feels wonderful here...AND the leaves are changing. ;)
till next time!

And so it begins..
Welp, here we are. The last night of our seven week break. Summer time is officially over. Fall is officially kicking in, and I am officially NOT ready to go back to another semester of school. It literally seems like forever since I have been on campus for classes, and it has. Last semester I took online classes, and ended up hating it because I was so bored after work. So this semester I work from 8-11 (same as last semester) and I will be taking four classes, a total of 12 credits. Two online and two on campus. I am really excited for some of my classes though. But we will see how I feel about that in a couple weeks! haha Tyson is taking 12 credits also, but six classes. As well as taking on two part time jobs. He is still going to be working in Idaho Falls at his normal job on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Then on the other days, he will be working on campus in the event services where he has worked in the past.
It wil be a huge change for the both of us this semester because there will be very little times when we will be seeing each other during the day, but the evenings will be filled with lots of homework time sitting next to each other on the couch :)
This weekend we went to Island Park with some of our good friends and just hung out in a cabin, went to YellowStone, had some fires and watched a lot of Big Bang Theory and enjoyed being out of Rexburg! None of us wanted to come back because we knew how hectic this week and these next couple months are going to be. But even though I am nervous about what is to come this semester, I am also excited for meeting new people, enjoying the beautiful fall weather, spending time with my husband and our dog, and just enjoy the things that Heavenly Father has blessed us with!
Just a little side update on our little guy. We've had Thor for five weeks today. Crazy huh? He is getting bigger each day. He is learning new tricks quickly and he is showing us how smart he is all the time! He is officially potty trained (except for the accident he had today, but we weren't paying attention to him so it's out fault). He goes to the door and scratches at it when he needs to go out, and he is slowly but surely becoming more kennel trained. He still barks sometimes, but no one can hear him, so it's okay! He are still enjoying having him as part of our family and love the lessons he has been teaching us. He has definitely taught me a lot more patience as well as Tyson.
Well, I think that is it for now. More updates will be in the near future! But for now, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and has a safe week! Oh and the weather is supposed to be AMAZING this week...so all you floridians...be jealous ;)

Labor day weekend!
This has to be one of the best labor day weekends I have ever had. We started it off by going to the Playmill in Yellowstone with the fam( the playmill is a place where they put on little plays and they are hilarious!) It was my first time going and I seriously want to go all the time now because it was so good! Then we hung out on saturday and went to a movie with some friends and enjoyed the wonderful thunderstorms that came through! Sunday was church as usual, and then today we went to the good ole Idaho State Fair! It was awesome. I loved it. Got to eat lots of not so good things for me, but they were delicious so I ate them anyways. But its okay cause you only eat that way once a year right? ;)
The people watching was the best. It almost beats the people in the fairs down in Florida! But the weather here definitely is kicking Florida's butt. I am LOVING this fall weather that is starting to peek out. The nights are becoming so very nice and we are taking full advantage of every second of it because the summer was stinking hot.
Anyways, I have already started decorating for fall. I must say, I think because I have my own place I have gotten into wanting to decorate for everything and make our house cute:) Guess it's what happens when you get married!
More work for us Clark's this week, and then we are taking a mini vacation with our wonderful neighbors to Island Park to stay in a cabin for the weekend, just for one more fun thing before we start school again on monday. (boooooooo!) We aren't super stoked about starting this semester because Tyson and I will hardly see each other except for dinner every night. ( I know were married and we live with each other, but still, it would be nice to at least see each other for five minutes during the day).
Anyways, that;s really all we have for an update right now. More pictures and posts are to come after this weekend! Hope ya'll had a wonderful labor day! :)

Oh the joys of being an adult
So for most of you who didn't know, for the past couple months we have been looking for another car because next semester our schedules are going to be so hectic, that one car just wasn't going to do the trick. So after countless calls, texts messages, trips all over the place, and hours spent on craigslist and KSL, we FINALLY found and bought a car. Let me tell you, we haven't been this relieved in a long time. We were getting down to two weeks until we had to have a car, and we only had a certain amount of money we could spend out of pocket and we weren't sure if that was exactly going to happen.
We made a spontaneous trip down to Utah yesterday to look there because they had a better selection than they did here in Idaho. As we were driving down we called and talked to three different people with three different cars. They were all sold before we even were able to see them, and one guy was selling it as we spoke to him on the phone...talk about disappointment. We were so frustrated, we just went to my friend Ally's apartment and crashed there to forget about it all until in the morning. I literally was saying so many prayers that night it was insane. So we got up early to look and make calls. The first car we looked at was it. We bought it. Huge weight lifted off our shoulders. Heavenly Father knew exactly what he was doing, and i'm glad that we were patient enough to wait until this weekend to find it. The car is a 97 Nissan Sentra. Super sweet little car, it definitely deserves a name. So i'm thinking of a clever one. But I will post pictures on FB hopefully within the next couple days! So stay posted!
We now are literally laying in bed barley awake. I feel like we ran from Utah to Rexburg rather than drive. Ps...I don't suggest driving to Utah, or traveling anywhere alone, it's boring, and no matter how many CD's you have. It doesn't get anymore exciting. So yes, we did call each other numerous times to try and save ourselves from boredom...didn't quite work out. Poor Thor was a good sport through all this last minute traveling. I literally think he was way more excited than we were to be home, and we wanted to be home reeaalllllyyyy bad! But he is now fast asleep in his kennel while Ty and I fight sleep as we watch Mean Girls :) haha
Anyways, I drive that car with a smile and I can now sleep stress free and we can enjoy the last two weeks of our summer in peace! We are super excited to be going to Yellowstone this coming weekend to go to the playmill, and the Island park and Yellowstone again with our awesome neighbors! I am determined to make these last two weeks fun and relaxing before craziness starts up again with school!
That's it for an update on the Clarks! Hope ya'll had a great Saturday! :)

The Mighty Thor
Well, if you haven't guessed already we got a new puppy. Yes his name is Thor, and yes he is a chihuahua, but it's an awesome name! Anyways, he is 9 weeks, and so much fun to be around. In the week in some days that we have had him, we have taught him to sit and shake. We are working on laying down, stay, come, and any other fun things we wanna teach him. We really want to teach him how to wave because whenever your holding him he always seems to wave his paw at either me of Ty. It's way cute!
Anyways, he is a whole lot easier to take care of than the other guy we have months ago. It's just awesome to come home to Thor and he is super excited to see us. He loves to cuddle and play around. I honestly don't think we could have asked for a smarter, sweet puppy to have!
So that's Thor! For an update on the Ty guy and me, not a whole lot really. Just the same old work and hanging out! We are looking for a car though, so if anyone has heard of anything around for a good price let us know! We need one asap before the semester starts back up.
So yeah, that's all I have for now. Yeah it's a short blog post. But if you couldn't tell we're old boring married people who have no lives. ;) Happy Wednesday!

oh, hey summer!
Well, another semester under my belt. Man, has these last couple months gone by fast. I am officially a junior in college...so weird. Tyson and I start back up in September for another fun filled semester. But until then, we are working for the seven week break and enjoying the last bit of warmth before it starts getting cold in a couple months. This is my first summer out here in Idaho, and I am loving it! I am so glad that Tyson is from here and knows all of the different fun and adventurous things we can do. Otherwise...I think we would be bored out of our minds!
My parents and little Mckenna came up to visit us for a couple days last week. They stayed in our apartment in our spare room, and basically we played the whole time they were here! We took them up to Mesa Falls, to the sand dunes (which my dad LOVED), went boating with Ty's parents, and ate at any place they wanted to go. It was seriously so nice to have them out here for a bit. Being around family always makes me happy, especially my family because I don't get to see them as often.
Here's a quick funny story for ya, so the day my fam had to leave my poor little sister was just not happy about it, at all. She was crying and hanging on to me. I was sitting on the living room floor with her in my lap while she was crying, and all of a sudden, she farted, and instantly everything was better. She was laughing so hard, we just all busted up. I guess her being in the Clark home for a little bit has brought out the best in her! haha
We loved having my parents around, and having our house loud for a bit. The day they left was even harder for me because Ty was already at work and once they left, being in an empty house by myself wasn't very nice. It was really hard getting ready for work that morning, but I was able to do it, and by the time I got home everything was okay again.
I think I have come to a whole new appreciation for my parents since I have been moved out of the house. We don't argue, we don't get frustrated with each other. I have found myself wanting to talk to my parents everyday. It's weird what happens with your relationship with your parents when you don't live with them anymore and they aren't "trying to ruin your life" ;) I really do have some of the best parents in the world, and without the things that they have taught me through out my life, I would definitely not be where I am today. I am so grateful for everything that they have done for me! They are awesome! Love you guys! :)
Anyways, not too much is going on besides that. We've just been working and hanging out. It's nice to not have to worry about any homework or anything after work. Just get to come home and hang out with the hubs the rest of the day:) That's all the news for now! Happy Monday!

All about Ty
So this post is all dedicated to my hubby, might be a little mushy, but I don't care it's something I want to write about :)
If anyone knows Ty, you know that he is one of the most loving guys you will ever meet. He is one to always look for the good in someone way before he picks out anything bad. He has taught me to look for the good in others. He has helped me to become more of a kinder person, and to be less judgmental. He is just an all around good guy.
I would just like to say that I appreciate everything that he does for me. Last night he installed a ceiling fan in our living room (with my help when he needed it), when it felt like it was 110 in our apartment and he was dripping with sweat, with minimal light because we turned off the lighting in the house and it was getting dark, and he worked through the frustration of instructions that made zero sense. He did an awesome job at it, and it feels 20 times better in our house now that we have this fan. He is such a hard worker and I appreciate everything that he does around the house. He helps me around the house whenever needed and he does it with a smile on his face, no matter what.
Heavenly Father definitely knew what he was doing when he put us together. Ty is my best friend, I can talk to him about anything no matter what and he will always listen. He is willing to drop everything and cancel any plans just to hang out at home with me. I am so grateful for having such an amazing guy in my life that I get to call my husband and that I get to spend the rest of eternity with him. I guess I could say that I am one lucky gal :) I Love you Ty guy!
Alright, alright, i'm done...mushiness is over ;)

half way point
Thursday marks our six months being married, almost made it to the year mark. It seriously has been the most amazing six months of my life. I couldn't have asked for a better husband in life. He truly is my best friend. We goof of more than anything, or probably any other couple. I have never felt the need to change who I am around him. We have always been able to be ourselves and I wouldn't want it any other way. He keeps me laughing and smiling every single day and he never fails to make me smile when I am mad at him. Needless to say, I have the best hubby in the world and I am grateful for everything that he has done for me and how much he has put up with my crap in these six months of being married.
Alright, enough of the mushy stuff. I know, I've been slacking again. But life has seriously been so crazy lately, it's been hard to sit down and write. Three weeks ago we went back to Florida to visit for a week, and it was awesome. I love visiting my family and being able to goof off with them. I miss having them so close. There are times when I just need my mom to talk. Or when I need her to come shopping with me, or just little stuff. Sometimes phone calls and skyping aren't enough. But they get to come out here in a couple weeks, so i'll get that mommy time again!
Since we've been back there has been non stop work and school work. That's basically our life right now. Plus, Ty's grandpa just passed away so we've been doing a lot with that too. This past weekend we went to Utah to celebrate our pre one year anniversary because in December in Idaho you can't do a whole lot. But last week he said that I needed to take off work for the weekend because it was a surprise. Well, he ended up having to tell me because I needed to tell work why I needed off. But we went to Lagoon which is a theme park and then we went to Carabbas which is the first place we ate at when we were married, so it is sort of our new tradition and then we just hung out and enjoyed being out of Rexburg.
Now were back in Idaho, starting another week of life. Just counting down the days until the seven week break starts so we can just relax more and enjoy this summer weather. Anyways, that's pretty much the update on our lives for now. I really gotta start keeping up with this thing, it's nice to update everyone on whats going on. Anyways, that's life. Happy Sunday! :)

Holy Slacking....
Okay, it's official...i'm horrible at keeping up with my blog. BUT I have a really good reason for it! So, I got a job on campus, and so i've been working there for a couple weeks and then I come home and work my butt off on homework, then have dinner cooking or ready by the time Ty gets home from work, and then just relax. So really I have had zero time to think about writing on here!
Sooo, that puppy that we had. Yeah, we had to give him to a new home. We gave him away a couple weeks ago, but the story is...we came home from church one Sunday between relief society and priesthood because we didn't want him to have an accident in the spare bedroom, where we kept him. So we left and went back to church for sacrament and then came home, and didn't hear him barking, so we got super excited. Tyson went to open the spare bedroom door to find Jake had ripped up our carpet in front of the door. He was trying to dig his way out. After taking a breather and trying to calm down. We decided we couldn't keep him. We just don't have the money to repair the carpet, and buy a kennel and pay the deposit on him. So the next day we found a home for him. It was sad, but now that we think about it, he needed it and so did we.
Anyways, we haven't fixed the carpet yet, we just keep the door shut. BUT we found carpet, for FIVE dollars...way more than we needed too. The lady just didn't want to cut what was left so she just gave it to us for dirt cheap. Thank goodness! We are planning on hopefully getting it fixed before we leave for Florida in two weeks.
Tyson finally taught me how to drive stick so I can officially drive the car now. It took me a while to get it and i'm still not as good as driving it as Tyson but I can get myself to work and back home and sometimes to Idaho Falls to pick up Ty from work, so i'd day that's pretty good :) Tyson is still just working, he went to a Jazz game with some of his buddies last weekend and he had a blast! He still is being an awesome husband and an awesome friend to me:) Couldn't of asked for anyone better!
Welp, that's about it. Except the fact that we are majorly excited for Florida in just two weeks. But until then it's work work work, and homework. Hopefully I can take more time to write updates about what is going on, but who knows! ;)
Happy Monday!

Puppy Love
So really ever since we got married we talked about getting a dog. We both grew up with dogs and we've had one or in my case two, that have been a huge part of our family. We couldn't get one because neither of us were home enough to take care of the dog, and we just weren't willing to spend the money just yet on a dog when we needed things for ourselves first, which of course, was our main priority.
Since I quit my job at opinionology and started watching my sister-in-laws kids while she worked during the week...still didn't give us time for a dog, and by this time we both were puppy hungry....bad. We would literally have to go and play with someone else's dog just to get it out of our systems. We figured that we weren't going to get a dog for a long time, and I was thinking that it wouldn't be at least until I was done with school or when we started having kids. I finally got a job on campus working in the bookstore as a cashier, and when you are on track you can't work more than 20 hours on campus. So I am only working M-F 11-2 or 8-11 ( they said I was working the 11-2 shift, but I got my schedule and it says I work 8-11...so we will see once I get it straightened out!) Regardless of what time I work, i'll still only be working three hours a day, which is good because I can be home with a dog.
We knew that getting a dog would be a huge responsibility and since I got this job we started talking about it more, and with me taking online classes it all works out. So saturday we went to the Idaho Falls animal shelter just to look. We didn't actually intend on getting a dog. We both agreed we wouldn't get a dog just because we thought it was cute. We had to absolutely be in love with it. After playing with different dogs we came across Jake. An 8 month old mountain cur (yeah, we haven't heard of it either, it's basically a lab.) They are hunting dogs and really don't get any bigger than a lab. They hunt just raccoons and squirrel, and sometimes they are used to hunt bears and wild boars. He was already house and crate trained and knew some basic commands when we got him. He LOVES to lick and is seriously such a sweetheart. He is still scared that we are going to abandon him so he sticks by our side where ever we go. He is a cuddle bug and not to toot my own horn, but he is a mommas boy :)
We couldn't be more excited to have him as apart of our little family. He has definitely taught us a lot in the few days we've had him. It gets really frustrating at times when he is stubborn, but at the end of the day we still love him and are happy we have him. So there ya have it, the story of our new member of the family, and since having kids isn't something were even thinking about for a while we thought getting a dog would give us something to keep us occupied. :)
School started today and seriously, I did NOT miss it at all. With that, taking care of Jake, doing things around the house and taking care of Tyson who is home sick from work, i've definitely passed my stress limit. And with work starting next week it's only going to get more hectic. I can do it though. And once Tyson is feeling better he will be able to take care of some things when we gets home while I do school work. Seriously though, I cannot wait to get out of here and vacations at home with my family in Florida for a week. It will be nice just to do nothing and just spend time with everyone that we miss!
Well, as exciting as our married life is, that is our update on life for the moment! haha Happy Tuesday :)

So grateful for blessings!
Just like any other newly married couple, we have struggled financially and we have wondered how we were going to buy groceries some weeks. We always have money for rent, since that is our first priority, but money we use for anything else we need, we always barley scrape by, and somehow we always did. We always had enough. But it's life, and that's what happens when your a newly wed couple still in college working minimum wage jobs, and that's how our life is going to be until we graduate and start careers.
Back in February I quit my job at a call center here in Rexburg. It was a horrible job. I don't think I ever worked all of the hours I was scheduled for each week because if they don't have enough work they send people home. Which was not ok. I needed that money and I needed to be at work. So finally I was fed up with it and I left. Tyson and I thought it was something that we needed to do. So after that I started watching my sister in laws kids while she was at work during the week. It was fun, I got to spend more time with them and it was fun playing with them all day and I loved them making me laugh all day everyday. But obviously this wasn't something that I could do forever. So back to job hunting I went, and everyone knows job hunting is not fun.
After trying places and not being able to find anything, I kept praying and got a blessing so that I could finally find a job. I got a call this morning that made me so happy I was shaking for about an hour. I got a job in the book store on campus as a cashier! I was so nervous that I would get hired somewhere and I would be working late at night, and work on sundays and that I wouldn't be able to spend time with Tyson. But no, I work Monday through Friday, some Saturdays because you switch off with other people and no sundays and no late nights! Talk about blessings! Tyson and I couldn't be happier today!
On another note, the one thing that does suck today, is that it is snowing in Idaho Falls, which means it's going to eventually start snowing here in Rexburg. Whhhyyyy? Ugh, I can't wait for Tyson to be done so we can just move to Florida already ;) haha

Oh, hey spring!
Let me just start off by saying today is B E A U T I F U L outside. It is sunny, not a cloud in the sky, AND it's gonna be 74 today.
Air is off
Windows are wide open
and we are just loving this spring weather
Yesterday we went running around the track up on campus and for me running inside on a treadmil is way different than running outside. So while Ty was running around like it was nothing, my mile and a half that I had worked my way back up to since we started working out again turned into me barely making it once around the track. Needless to say I got so frustrated because the progress that I had made working out at the gym three times a week felt like I hadn't done anything. I mean it probably didn't help that Ty was sick last week and we were only able to work out like once, but still. I usually feel like I can pick up right where I left off. Poor Tyson felt so bad because he was the one who came up with the idea of running outside rather than going to the gym. But I was able to just do some ab work outs when we got home and I felt better. :)
I had a job interview yesterday up on campus for a student secretary job in the book store. I had no idea that I was going to get interviewed then, good thing I didn't just throw on a t-shirt and jeans and go up to campus. I actually dressed up. After the interview she said she would let people know either yesterday or today. So if I don't hear anything back then i'll just keep trying for something else. It's so hard to get a job around here. You honestly have to know people who own places in order to get jobs, it's so crazy.
Anyhoo, there really isn't a whole lot of excitement going on in our lives right now. Well, besides going to Florida next month, and me starting school next week, but school isn't exciting and i'm not exactly stoked to be going back.
Tonight i'm going to watch Ty and some friends play soccer. No I don't think i'm going to be playing this time, but we will see how I feel when it comes closer to the time to go and play. Sometimes it's just nice to sit back and watch rather than play.........that... and all of the guys playing are waaaaayyyyy better than me ( even though I have gotten way better), but i'll just save myself from the embarrassment ;)

Home Sweet Home
Well like I said I would post pictures of our place...and here they are! We still have some things that need to be hung up, and some more things I would like to get for the place, but I figured since it now looks more like a home it was now safe to put up some pictures! Enjoy:)
Living room #1 ( I still want to hang something above the mirrors and a coat rack type thing will go under the big picture.)
Living room again. I want to put a plant between the lamp and the TV.
Dining area. The wall of pictures is finally done. Now I just want some fake flowers or something on the table. And some decorative type thing will eventually will go in the corner behind the table.
Kitchen. Pretty much done besides figuring out what to put on top of the cabinets.
Bathroom. Done except for some pictures I want to put up above the towels and above the toilet.
Bathroom again. All done on this side :)
Master Bedroom. Just needing a frame for one thing to go in the spot next to the curtain. And maybe something on both sides of the LOVE.
Master again. This side is all done:)
Spare bedroom. Obviously nothing has been done with this room. We have been debating on what to do with it. Eventually it will turn into something. We are probably going to make it a guest bedroom whenever we have the time and money to do so. Or I told Ty he could turn it into his man cave and put all of his sports stuff in there. But who knows. We plan on staying here until Tyson graduates and gets a job wherever his career takes us, so at some point in time this will be something. For now it stays as is with an air mattress on the floor, and random things we are not sure what to do with yet. haha
Well, there ya have it. The Clark home. It's a lot nicer than a majority of the apartments around here in Rexburg. So we actually got really lucky with it and i'm glad we don't like in a complete dump of an apartment. We also have washer and dryer that the place came with..but I didn't feel the need to post pictures of that. We can have dogs, which is nice because later down the road we reeeaallllyyyyyy want a puppy. We have been really good about not buying one because we both want one so bad.
Welp, that's all for today. You now know what our place looks like:) Hopefully it's a little bit better than you pictured! ;)

Tyson's birthday, Utah, and plans to go to home
Well, I got tired of my old blog and decided to make a new one that will hopefully motivate me to keep it updated on what's going on in our lives! This past weekend was Ty's 23rd birthday. We got tickets to the Jazz vs. Kings basketball game for a wedding present and the game just so happened to be on his birthday. So down to Utah we went for the weekend. My awesome parents got us a hotel for two nights in Salt Lake which was SUPER nice because we didn't drive the car once. We walked everywhere and took the train back and forth. And the weather was super nice and warm so it was worth it! Sadly the Jazz lost by one point. But we ended up having a good time anyway.
Saturday night we ended up getting tickets for the Utah Blaze arena football game. We sat on the side lines and I was literally scared for my life the whole game. We could have gotten hit with a football or even a player. The game interested me for about the first 15 minutes and then I was ready to leave. But Tyson had a good time and that's all that matter since he was dying to go and I really wasn't. I can't wait to find a super girly thing to drag him to ;) haha
Once again my parents are awesome! They are flying us to Florida May 25th. Needless to say...we are stoked! I cannot wait to see all of my family and just lay on the beach and go swimming. We haven't seen my family since the wedding and the open house here. So we are both way excited to see everyone. It will be nice to get out of Idaho for a week and just chill. I'll have online classes to keep up with, but that won't be a problem at all:) Florida...ready or not we're coming for you!
That's all the exciting news for now. Since more of our apartment is put together I'll take pictures later and post them so everyone can finally see the Clark home:) Hopefully I will be able to keep up with this blog and keep you all updated! :) Happy Monday!
